BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) — Montana State wide receiver David Dash suffered what is likely a career-ending knee injury during the second day of fall drills.
Dash, a senior who was in the running to start for the Bobcats, was injured during practice Tuesday morning.
Bobcat coach Rob Ash says he feels sick for Dash, who worked hard to get himself into contention to earn a starting spot.
Dash, of Fontana, California, played as a true freshman in 2010, redshirted in 2011 and played the past two seasons. He played in all 12 games as a junior and caught seven passes.
He is scheduled to graduate from MSU in December with a degree in sociology.
