TAHLEQUAH — The bodies of two men who had been missing since Sunday at Lake Tenkiller were found Wednesday.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol spokeswoman Betsy Randolph said the bodies of Brandon Davis, 29, of Lexington, and Micah McClain, 25, of Shawnee, were found near the shoreline about 6:45 a.m. The patrol said the men apparently drowned Sunday.

Troopers said the bodies were found by friends of the family. Lake personnel removed the bodies from the water and they were taken to a funeral home at the direction of the state medical examiner's office.

Davis and McClain were reported missing about 7:45 p.m. Sunday. Someone called the lake patrol from a boat at Party Cove at Lake Tenkiller after the men had been missing four to six hours.

According to the patrol report, the men were last seen on floating tubes at the rear of a stationary boat.
