Body found in Oklahoma City-area lake is identified

The state medical examiner's office has identified a body found in Lake Stanley Draper as Suchada Chansahdee, 39, of Del City.

The state medical examiner's office has identified a body found Sunday inside a submerged car in a metro-area lake, a spokeswoman for the office said.

The body of Suchada Chansahdee, 39, of Del City, was in a car pulled from Lake Stanley Draper, state medical examiner's office spokeswoman Amy Elliot said.

The office has not determined a cause of death.

Boaters spotted the car Sunday and called Oklahoma City police to report seeing something sticking out of the water at the lake, Oklahoma City police Lt. Taylor Dinh said.

Homicide detectives are investigating the death, but do not believe the case is a homicide, police Master Sgt. Gary Knight said. has disabled the comments for this article.
