The boil advisory for Oakdale Middle School in northeast Oklahoma City has been lifted, the Department of Environmental Quality reported.

The advisory was put in place after samples taken in late July indicated the presence of E. coli. The school district has about 625 students enrolled in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade.

The water has been determined to be safe for human consumption.
