Book review: “The Environment” by Pope Benedict XVI, collected and edited by Jacquelyn Lindsey
Jacquelyn Lindsey has searched through the writings and speeches of Pope Benedict XVI and compiled “The Environment” (Our Sunday Visitor Publishing, $14.95), a book of material on what the pope has said or written about issues regarding the environment.
Some of the works are from encyclicals such as Caritas in Veritate, homilies, an address with Patriarch Bartholomew I of Constantinople and other sources.
This is a great compilation to learn what the pope has to say about environmental issues. God's creation is important to him and the Catholic Church. This book is recommended.
