The writers call themselves the Custer County Truck Stop Poets, because that’s where they met up to work on the poetry collection.

John Sowers will sign “The Heroic Path” from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday. The book follows Sowers’ quest to discover the “wild masculine” side of himself.

T.C. Miller will sign “Blackstar Bay” from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday. The novel is about five men whose weekly blackjack game leads to an ill-fated plot to scam Lake Tahoe casinos.

Oklahoma author Glen McIntyre will sign copies of “Lincoln County” from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday. The nonfiction book is the latest in Arcadia Publishing’s “Images of America” series.
