DUNCAN -- After more than 20 years of living in California, he says he wants to move back to Oklahoma.

Brian Bosworth grew up in Meeker, graduated high school in Texas, then became a legend at the University of Oklahoma, where he created The Boz persona that gave him a lot of notoriety.

But he told the Duncan Banner he was "gigantically misunderstood." He's thankful, he said, that Oklahoma people have stood by him.

"Any time I've fallen," he told the Banner, "Oklahoma always seems to forgive me quickly because they know where my heart is."

Bosworth was in Duncan as part of his promotion for his latest movie, "Revelation Road: The Beginning of the End."

His visit to Duncan was in part due to his friendship with Duncan native Tony Newsom. Bosworth also visited other cities and towns in Oklahoma.

See what else Bosworth had to say in his interview with the Banner.
