Boulevard, Green Flash events planned this week

Couple nice beer events coming up this week in Oklahoma:

-Packard’s New American Kitchen, 201 NW 10, is hosting a Boulevard beer dinner at 6:30 on Wednesday night. Here’s the rundown:

Oklahoma City friends! Join us on Wednesday for a dinner you won’t want to miss. Packard’s New American Kitchen has paired Boulevard beers with a stellar five-course dinner sure to please your taste buds. Seats are limited and can be secured by emailing nick@packardsokc.com or by calling 605-3771. Tickets are $50 a person. The full menu is outlined below.

1st Course: Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale paired with Tank 7 poached oysters

2nd Course: The Sixth Glass paired with raw cheddar soup

3rd Course: Long Strange Tripel paired with chicken lollipop on a bed of greens

4th Course: Double-Wide IPA paired with steak au poivre

5th Course: Dark Truth Stout paired with ice cream

1st beer served at 6:30 p.m., dinner served at 7 p.m.

-A Green Flash and BrewDog tap takeover is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday at R Bar &Grill in Tulsa, 3421 S Peoria Ave. Here’s the scoop on that:

All taps at R Bar & Grill will be taken over by Green Flash Brewing Co. and BrewDog! Many of these taps have never been available in Oklahoma before, including Green Flash Double Stout and BrewDog Libertine Black Ale! The breweries have sent some special giveaways for this night, so come drink some awesome beers and you might walk out with some cool swag as well!

Then don’t forget that today is Monday, which means the weekly pint night at the four McNellie’s pubs:

-Dead Armadillo Amber at Oklahoma City

-Newcastle Brown Ale at Tulsa

-Avery at Tulsa-South (Avery Brewing founder Adam Avery will not be there due to weather)

-Anchor Christmas at Norman
