The 2012-2013 NBA season has been over for what…14 hours?
Seems like enough time to fully digest what happened, rest a little bit and get to talking about next year. At least that’s how the oddsmakers feel.
Bovada has already come out with its 2014 NBA championship odds, listed below. And as expected, the Heat are considered favorites to three-peat, at 2-1.
The Thunder fall right behind that, at 11-2 odds, two spots ahead of the closest Western Conference foe (San Antonio at 17-2).
What does it mean? Nothing, really. Unless you’re a betting man.
But it makes for interesting chatter. And the handicappers obviously don’t seem worried about lingering knee issues. Russell Westbrook and the Thunder are the Western Conference favorites, while Derrick Rose and the Bulls have better odds than all teams but OKC and the Heat.
