Oklahoma City boxer "Kid” Carson Jones has traveled the country and been on ESPN2 several times, but Saturday night will be the first time in his career that Jones will be the main event in his hometown.

Jones will face Kansas' Michi Munoz in the Cox Convention Center's Great Hall in the main event of the first card promoted by Fighttime Promotions and Anthony McGhee.
"Anthony's done a great job pushing the card and that always helps you get excited about fighting,” Jones said.
Jones is 15-6, with most of the defeats early in his career.
•Lawton boys victorious: It was the homecoming Lawton native Grady Brewer thought he would have. And he got a little work in, too.
Brewer in his first fight since winning "The Contender”, knocked out Brandon Wooten in the third round Friday night at the Comanche Casino.
"The atmosphere was absolutely great there,” said Oklahoma City lightweight NoahZuhdi. "For myself, I felt a lot more composed and executed my game plan perfectly.”
Zuhdi notched his fourth first-round KO to move to 4-0.
Lawton native George Tahdooahnippah also survived his toughest test. The "Comanche Boy” scored a knockout in the seventh round, the latest knockout of his young career.
•Busy week: Because the Freestyle Cage Fighting event has been rescheduled for next Sunday, it gives fight fans three straight days of action.
Friday sees the return of C3 Fights at Lucky Star Casino. The Norman-based promotion features C3 Fights champions Brandon Shelton and Wayne Cole. Saturday is the boxing card at the Cox Convention Center while Sunday is the FCF event at State Fair Speedway.
