It's not too often local product Brandon Shelton isn't one of the main draws for C3 Fights. But the Norman-based mixed martial arts group has landed a couple of solid names for tonight's show at Lucky Star Casino in Concho.

Tulsa native Gerald "Hurricane” Harris will compete against Jon Kirk in the main event. Harris was a participant in the Ultimate Fighter Series 7, the reality TV show looking for the next great UFC fighter. Kirk is a veteran of Elite XC, another major MMA organization.
Also on the card will be Shelton and Norman's Wayne Cole, both C3 Fights champions. Shelton takes on Jose Santibanez from Houston while Cole fights Ken Sparks of Missouri.
•FCF on schedule: No threat of bad weather this weekend means the Freestyle Cage Fighting event will run as planned Sunday afternoon at State Fair Speedway as part of the State Fair.
