Oklahoma City boxer Carson Jones is still waiting for that big break. Despite some of the frustrations, Jones is staying active.
Jones takes on Rahman Yusubov in the main event of the Rumble at Remington Park on Saturday night.
In one of the preliminary bouts, former four-time state wrestling champion Matt Grice of Harrah continues to try to stay active in combat sports.
Grice, who has fought in the Ultimate Fighting Championship several times, is hoping boxing can help him keep in shape, too. He is scheduled to fight Kevin Barnett.
The event is also a fundraiser for Pros 4 Vets, an organization with a mission to raise awareness of the needs American service members, veterans and their families have throughout their military career.
The organization was created by country music star Toby Keith and former Oklahoma football stars and NFL players Mark Clayton, Tommie Harris and Roy Williams.
