A 9-year-old boy who was hit by a vehicle Friday evening in Valley Brook remained in critical condition Saturday morning, OU Medical Center officials said.
Police responded to the scene about 6:45 p.m. in the 6500 block of S Cox Avenue in Valley Brook. The boy was taken in critical condition by ambulance to the hospital Friday evening.
Valley Brook Police Chief Michael Stamp said investigators determined the driver of the vehicle was not at fault in the accident. She went voluntarily to the police station and was given a blood test, Stamp said. Police did not identify the boy or the driver of the vehicle.
