NEPHI, Utah (AP) — Officials say a group of Boy Scouts helped lift an overturned SUV off a woman who later died of her injuries.

Utah Highway Patrol officials say 60-year-old Maria Sandoval died after the crash Wednesday morning in southern Utah's Juab County. An 11-year-old girl, a 16-year-old girl and the male driver were taken to the hospital.

Troopers say the Ford Explorer was on interstate 15 near Mona when the right rear tire blew and the vehicle rolled several times.

Officials with the Boy Scouts said a group of boys headed to the Beaver High Adventure Scout Camp came upon the crash and wanted to help.

Their troop leader said emergency responders allowed five of the teens to help lift the vehicle off the ground, so the woman could be pulled out.
