•Class: Freshman

•The story: Eckroat compiled one of the most impressive freshman seasons ever, particularly in the state’s largest class. In addition to coming from behind on the final day to win Class 6A, he tied for first in his first-ever varsity tournament, won his second and only finished worse than sixth once all year.

Nick Heinen

Edmond North

•Class: Senior

•The story: Bound for Oklahoma State, Heinen never finished worse than sixth at state in his four years. As a senior, he had a stroke average of 72.91 with one win and 10 top-10 finishes in 12 tournaments.

Thomas Johnson

Norman North

•Class: Junior

•The story: After bursting onto the scene as a sophomore last year, Johnson followed it up with yet another strong campaign. And the Oklahoma commit was strong to the finish, logging his second straight top-three finish at the state tournament.

•Class: Senior
