Nick Heinen, So., Edmond North

Class: Sophomore

The story: Heinen has been the Huskies' top finisher at state each of the last two seasons, coming in as runner-up this year. The long-hitting sophomore was one of the team's most reliable players, finishing with one win and a 73.4 stroke average.

Player of the Year

Max McGreevy, Jr., Edmond Santa Fe

Class: Junior

The story: By his personal standards, McGreevy didn't feel he met his expectations, but the junior won three times, including the 6A individual title, and had a stroke average of 72.1. Verbally committed to Oklahoma, McGreevy was the first Edmond Santa Fe player to win state.

Trent Mewbourn, Sr., Heritage Hall

Class: Senior

The story: Capped by Class 4A regional and state championships, Mewbourn finished his senior season in style. Out of his 11 tournaments, he had five first-place finishes and was second three more times, with an overall stroke average of 71.2. He plans to attend OU with hopes of walking onto the golf team in the future.
