Sam Bradford statue, fundraiser highlight Sooner Spectacular

NORMAN — Archie Manning will speak.

Sam Bradford’s Heisman statue will be unveiled.

And money will be raised for construction of the Sooner Center, the University of Oklahoma’s state-of-the-art dormitory that will begin housing OU’s athletes in 2013.

The “Sooner Spectacular” will take place Saturday night at the Cox Pavilion at State Fair Park, starting with a reception at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7. The event is sold out.
