Breaking down Iowa State

Campus location: Ames, Iowa

Enrollment: 28,600

Nickname: Cyclones

Conference: Big 12

Record: 3-3, 1-1 Big 12

Last game: Utah overcame an early 14-10 hole in Ames with 31 unanswered points in the second quarter to coast past Iowa State, 68-27.

Last meeting with OU: On Oct. 20, 2007, Iowa State held a 7-0 halftime lead, but Chris Brown ran for two second-half TDs to rally the Sooners to a 17-7 victory.

Best player: He gets overshadowed by some of the other RBs in the league, but Alexander Robinson is capable of delivering the home-run play at any time.

Why they could win: If Utah State could keep it close in Norman, so can Iowa State. The Cyclones also are capable of putting up some points.

Why they could lose: The Cyclones have been overmatched by the talent of top-10 teams (Iowa, Utah). There's no reason to believe this game will be any different.
