•Record: 11-1, 7-1 Big 12 North champions

•Last game: Missouri quarterback Chase Daniel completed 40 of 49 passes for 361 yards as the Tigers ended Kansas' perfect season with a 36-28 win at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo.

•Best player: Daniel broke his own school record for total offense in a season Saturday night. He now has 4,029 total yards this season, surpassing his record of 3,906 yards last year.

•Why they could win: The Tigers believe they were the best team on Owen Field the night they lost to the Sooners 41-31 on Oct. 13 and that fuels their motivation. Missouri piled up 413 yards of offense without starting tailback Tony Temple. Now Temple is back to add another weapon to the Big 12's most dangerous offensive arsenal that includes Daniel, receiver Jeremy Maclin and tight ends Martin Rucker and Chase Coffman.

•Why they could lose: Oklahoma seems to have a renewed focus after the embarrassing loss at Texas Tech that wiped out any national title hopes. The Sooner offense was running smoothly and the defense stood strong in the red zone against Oklahoma State Saturday.

Missouri's Tony Temple didn't play in the first meeting between Missouri and Oklahoma. He'll play Saturday. Associated Press
