Breezy and warm today, rain tomorrow in Oklahoma
Published: October 20, 2009
Warm and windy conditions will be the rule for most of the state today with highs ranging from the mid-70s to lower 80s and south winds averaging 15 to 20 mph.
On Wednesday, the National Weather Service says an approaching storm system could bring a good chance of rain through early Thursday.
The cold front is expected to be followed by northwest winds with high temperatures only reaching the 50s and 60s, with lows falling into the 30s and 40s on Thursday.
Western Oklahoma could see a slight chance of showers tonight, and showers and storms are likely statewide Wednesday with some areas receiving heavy rain.
