For those interested in making donations to the Bridge Creek football program to aid their efforts in recovering from the damage done by vandals last week, here are some ways to help:

You can send financial donations to Bridge Creek Schools, care of the Bridge Creek Football Recovery Fund, at 2209 E. Sooner Rd., Blanchard, OK 73010, or to Great Plains National Bank of Tuttle, 4709 State Highway 37, Tuttle, OK 73089, care of the Bridge Creek Quarterback Club.

For non-monetary donations, contact the school at (405) 387-4880 for instructions.

The team will be taking part in three fundraising events in the coming days:

* The team will car-hop at the Tri-City Sonic on Saturday until 5 p.m.

* The Little Axe cheerleaders will host a spaghetti dinner prior to the two teams’ scrimmage on Aug. 21, with all proceeds going to Bridge Creek.

* During the team’s photo day on Aug. 23, they will hold a live auction of autographed memorabilia by Oklahoma football players, as well as several other items.
