NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — New Jersey Transit trains were back on schedule after some rail riders faced delays because of problems on the Portal Bridge.

Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast Line and Midtown Direct trains were operating up to 30 minutes behind schedule in both directions because only one track was open Tuesday morning.

Midtown Direct trains were diverted to Hoboken until the problem was resolved.
