Mission officials treat the mind and soul through the Bridge to Life recovery program, which addresses addictions to drugs, as well as, addictions to behaviors.
The 8-10 month program not only provides addiction recovery, but also a variety of issues like anger management, spiritual development, life skills, chronic homelessness, generational homelessness and drug and alcohol addictions. The mission houses the largest, free, drug and alcohol recovery program in the state!
“In the Bridge to Life Recovery Program, there is a period of time where we encourage clients to reflect on their past and plan for their future,” said Tom Jones, president of the mission. “The mission partners with each client to discover solutions to their circumstances whatever they may be. Part of this process allows the clients to build a firm foundation for their future success once they leave the mission.”
The spirit is addressed through the spiritual development opportunities through chapel and program classes. Clients are encouraged to overcome their addictions and other challenges through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
