Zoo special includes food

The Oklahoma City Zoo’s Way Back Wednesdays promotion will be through July and August. The promotion includes 75-cent admission and hot dogs, small fountain drinks and popcorn for 75 cents. The zoo is at 2101 NE 50. For more information, go to okczoo.com.

Workshop to teach code
Oklahoma City officials will offer residents a chance to learn the basics of code enforcement. The Code Enforcement 101 workshop is 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Will Rogers Garden Exhibition Center, 3400 NW 36. The workshop is intended to help residents combat blight and beautify their neighborhoods. Woman wins dream home
Jean Morgan of Norman is the winner of the St. Jude Dream Home giveaway. The $360,000 home is in the St. James Pointe community in south Oklahoma City. The Dream Home promotion helped raise more than $500,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, officials said.
