PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Bears seven-time Pro Bowl linebacker Lance Briggs is active and will play against the Eagles on Sunday night for the first time since injuring his shoulder two months ago.

Briggs missed seven games with a broken shoulder. Backup safeties Colt Anderson (knee) and Kurt Coleman (hamstring) are among the inactives for the Eagles.

The Bears (8-6) would clinch the NFC North and secure the No. 3 seed with a victory. If they lose, they'll host Green Bay (7-7-1) for the division title next Sunday.

The NFC East-leading Eagles (8-6) are only playing for a No. 3 seed. They must win at Dallas (8-7) next Sunday to clinch the division title. However, if they beat the Bears, a tie against the Cowboys also would secure the division crown.
