SYDNEY (AP) — The Brisbane Roar increased their first-place lead in Australia's A-League to seven points with a 3-0 win Saturday over the Melbourne Victory.

Liam Miller gave Brisbane the lead in the 28th minute before Matt McKay and Dimitri Petratos scored goals nine minutes apart in the second to clinch the Roar's 10th win in 13 matches. It was also Brisbane's first win against the Victory in Melbourne since 2008.

Earlier Saturday, Chris Harold's 38th-minute goal gave the Perth Glory a 1-0 win over Newcastle.

Central Coast hosts the Melbourne Heart on Sunday to close out the 13th round. A win by the defending champion Mariners would move them into third place, a point behind second-place Western Sydney.
