Broken Bow man dies in McCurtain County accident

Michael Shelton, 36, of Broken Bow, died after the vehicle he was driving left the road and overturned, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

— A Broken Bow man died in a single-car accident on a McCurtain County road about 3 miles west of Broken Bow, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported. Michael Shelton, 36, was traveling west about 4:35 a.m. Sunday when the pickup he was driving went into a ditch and rolled. Shelton, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle, troopers said. He died at the scene.
