Broncos DT Warren, Steelers Gilbert, Foster hurt

Published: September 9, 2012

DENVER (AP) — Denver Broncos defensive tackle Ty Warren has injured his elbow in his first game in three seasons Sunday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers and is questionable to return.

Pittsburgh offensive tackle Marcus Gilbert (left knee) and guard Ramon Foster (eye injury) are also questionable for the second half.

Warren had not played an NFL game since 2009 due to injury before taking the field Sunday night. The Broncos signed him as a free agent from New England before the 2011 season, but he missed the entire year after he suffered a torn triceps.

Warren made one tackle before leaving in the first half. He remained on the bench but did not go back in the game and the Broncos refused to reveal which elbow was hurt.
