Browning: Sun Belt's Offensive Player of the Week

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Louisiana-Monroe quarterback Kolton Browning has received the Sun Belt's offensive player of the week honor.

Browning led the Warhawks (3-2, 1-0 SBC) to a 31-17 win at Middle Tennessee Saturday afternoon. The junior finished 26-of-38 for 285 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Browning also rushed 10 times for 44 yards.

His lone touchdown pass of the game came with 3:40 to play in the second quarter when he hooked up with Je'Ron Hamm from the Middle Tennessee three yard line as ULM extended its lead to 14 points (17-3). The scoring drive was highlighted by a 47-yard pass from Browning to Hamm.
