Renowned singer/songwriter/producer/musician Bruno Mars has announced the eagerly anticipated additional leg of his blockbuster “Moonshine Jungle World Tour,” including a June 4 show at Tulsa’s BOK Center.

Following two back-to-back nights in Mars’ hometown of Honolulu, Hawaii, April 18 and 19, the acclaimed trek will hit arenas and amphitheaters across North America throughout summer 2014, with dates getting underway May 27 at Fresno’s Save Mart Center. The Grammy-winning global superstar will be joined by special guest Pharrell Williams in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal, with Aloe Blacc joining the bill as supporting act on multiple dates, including the Tulsa show.

Tickets for the Tulsa show will go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3. Ticket prices have not yet been announced, but they will be available online at www.bokcenter.com, Arby’s Box Office at the BOK Center, all ticket outlets, or by calling (866) 726-5287.

Mars, who brought the 2013 leg of his “Moonshine Jungle” trek to Oklahoma City in August, will headline the Feb. 2 Pepsi Super Bowl XLVIII Halftime Show at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. In addition, he and his eight-piece band, The Hooligans, are set to continue their extended engagement at The Chelsea, the newest performance space at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, with upcoming shows booked for Feb. 15 and 16, May 23 and 24 and Aug. 22 and 23.

Recently named Billboard magazine’s 2013 Artist of the Year, Mars is also among the top nominees for the 56th Annual Grammy Awards on Jan. 26, with “Locked Out Of Heaven,” the No. 1 smash single from his blockbuster second album, “Unorthodox Jukebox,” receiving nods as Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year. What’s more, the chart-topping “When I Was Your Man” was named in the Best Pop Solo Performance category while “Unorthodox Jukebox” was included among the Best Pop Vocal Album nominees.

With 130 million singles sold worldwide, the 18-time Grammy Award nominee and winner has made music history more than once, including such milestones as scoring his first five Billboard “Hot 100” chart-toppers faster than any male solo artist since Elvis Presley, according to a news release. In addition to his two acclaimed multi-platinum albums – 2010’s “Doo-Wops & Hooligans” and 2012’s“Unorthodox Jukebox,” which share a combined certification total of 60-times platinum worldwide – Mars has logged an extraordinary catalog spanning 22 “Hot 100” hits, marking his numerous gifts as singer, songwriter, musician, and producer. A charismatic live performer, he recently concluded the epic 2013 leg of the “Moonshine Jungle World Tour,” having performed sold-out shows in more than 90 cities around the globe.
