Tornado tests prisons' readiness
Last week's tornadoes proved
to state prison officials that the
many drills and procedures
they've drawn up for natural
disasters can work.
On May 9, tornadoes crashed through the metro area, eventually plowing into the Clara Waters Community Corrections Center near Interstate 35 and Hefner Road in north Oklahoma City .
The tornado destroyed the center, but corrections officials were able to keep inmates...
