A building code inspector who was fired after protesting alleged illegal favoritism on behalf of the mayor of Blanchard has won a round in his federal free speech lawsuit.
The 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals reinstated the case of Ira Thomas , who is suing Blanchard city officials, claiming his free speech rights were abridged.
