Burglar bars delay Oklahoma City man’s surrender

An Oklahoma City man suspected of firing a weapon Tuesday that caused a lockdown of a nearby elementary school had trouble surrendering to police because of burglar bars at the house.

When police officers arrived they saw a man drop a silver revolver on the front porch and run inside the house near State Fair Park , police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said.
