Burglars hit day or night, whether residents home or not

PONCA CITY -- Intruders targeting homes in an area of Ponca City don't seem to care whether the residents are home are not.
The Ponca City News reports that the burglars have hit several homes in the city recently, including some that were forcibly entered during the day.
BURGLAR / BURGLARY / SUSPECT / HOUSE BREAK-IN: Police are looking for a man accused of breaking into a home in the 8200 block of NW 10 on Monday.
Stolen were such items as jewelry, handguns, wallets and purses, as well as other small goods.
Whether it is the work of one person or more is not known. But police note that some of the break-ins occurred while the resident was home.
