SUV driver is cited in Oklahoma City bus crash
A bus was involved in a crash with an SUV Thursday in Oklahoma City. Twelve people suffered minor injuries and were taken to a hospital.
Several people suffered minor injuries when an Oklahoma City bus and a sport utility vehicle collided near downtown Thursday, authorities said.

Lara O'Leary, spokeswoman for the Emergency Medical Services Authority, said 10 people on the bus and two occupants in the SUV went to OU Medical Center for treatment.
The crash occurred about 10:20 a.m. at Linwood Avenue and N Indiana Avenue. Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said officers cited the driver of the SUV, Isidra Estrella, 41, for running a red light and driving without a license and proof of insurance.
She said those involved in the crash suffered minor injuries.
Gary White, 54, of Oklahoma City, said he was in the back of the bus when the crash occurred.
He said a black car came through the intersection and collided with the bus. The bus then hit a light pole and tree in the median before striking a nearby graphics business at 1817 Linwood Blvd.
“Everybody got tossed around,” he said, adding that the crash threw him to the middle of the bus.
White said the bus had just left the downtown terminal, and he was on his way to NW 23 and May Avenue.
After the crash occurred, passengers noticed smoke coming from the back of the bus and started to panic, White said.
“They were all screaming and trying to get off the bus,” he said.
White said he helped passengers off and noticed a few were injured.
