McAfee & Taft has hired Roberta Browning Fields of counsel. She is a trial lawyer with more than 25 years of legal experience. Her practice will focus on the representation of employers and management in all areas of employment law, including litigation in state and federal courts, in arbitrations, and before regulatory and administrative agencies. She also trains and counsels employers on a broad range of matters affecting the workplace.

INTEGRIS Canadian Valley Hospital has elected Grayson Bottom to its board of directors. Bottom is city manager of the city of Yukon.

Schnake Turnbo Frank | PR names Justin Johnson an account coordinator working primarily in its Tulsa office. He also will support the firm's Oklahoma City office.

Variety Care has hired Marsha Funk as executive director of the new Variety Care Foundation. She will oversee day-to-day management of the Variety Care Foundation including developing and implementing professional fundraising programs as well as ongoing philanthropic corporate and foundation gifts. Funk was formerly the senior director of conference, membership and business development for the American Wind Energy Association.

Legacy Bank promotes Reeve Tarron to position of commercial development officer. Tarron joined the bank in 2005 as a credit analyst.

Dr. Veronica Velasco, a pathologist, has established her practice with OU Physicians. She is also a clinical assistant professor with the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.
