Trees could grow into Oklahoma cash crop
A potential moneymaker for the state could be going up in smoke. Loggers, businessmen and entrepreneurs have come up with a variety of uses and ideas in which the Eastern red cedar — considered a pest by many — could be developed into products generating tax revenue for the state.
