19: percent increase in state spending per student since 2005, compared to national average of 22 percent.

$1.8 billion: total revenue from property taxes, accounting for about 1/3 of all school funding in Oklahoma.

$1.7 billion: total amount of outstanding debt for Oklahoma schools.

$66 million: total interest paid on debts for state schools.
