SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — Train service between San Francisco and San Francisco is being disrupted after a shooting involving a Caltrain transit police officer.

Caltrain spokeswoman Christine Dunn says around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday tracks in both directions were closed for a while after the shooting near the railroad's facilities in San Jose.

Dunn says after the trains started rolling again, northbound trains were leaving San Jose about every 20 minutes and southbound trains were leaving San Francisco every 45 minutes.

All trains were making local stops, but there was no express service.

No additional information has been released about the shooting.
