Palin promises to bring jobs
ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio — Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin on Sunday told voters in southeastern Ohio that she and John McCain will bring jobs to this economically depressed piece of Appalachia. Palin said "Small Town USA” gets the value of hard work and neighbors.

SCRANTON, Pa. — Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden said Sunday that the McCain campaign is trying to distract Americans from their economic woes by launching personal attacks at Barack Obama.
Hillary Clinton rallies voters
SCRANTON, Pa. — New York Sen. Hillary Rodhan Clinton, who beat Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama in the Pennsylvania primary by 10 percentage points, took the stage with her husband Sunday at an Obama rally in Scranton. If Obama and his running mate Joe Biden win Pennsylvania, Clinton predicted, "there’s no way they can lose the White House.”
Ex-president praises Obama
ROANOKE, Va. — Former President Clinton said Sunday that Bush’s response to the financial crisis is helping the Obama campaign. At an Obama rally in Roanoke, Clinton praised the Democratic candidate’s plan for financial recovery and his proposals for health care reform.
