Class 6A girls state basketball notebook: Can anyone beat Edmond Santa Fe?
Once again, Santa Fe is the clear favorite coming into this week's tournament. The Wolves are 23-1. Their only loss came in the season's second game against Putnam City.
Last season, Edmond Santa Fe entered the Class 6A state tournament as the prohibitive favorites.
The Wolves won, but it wasn't easy. They needed overtime to beat Midwest City in the semifinals then edged Edmond Memorial 44-41 for the title.

Once again, Santa Fe is the clear favorite coming into this week's tournament.
The Wolves are 23-1. Their only loss came in the season's second game against Putnam City. Edmond Santa Fe eventually paid that loss back twice, beating the Pirates in the regular season and again in the playoffs.
A big reason for Santa Fe's dominance again this season has been the emergence of Cameerah Graves and Tamara Lee.
Graves, a senior, is averaging 10.4 points, 5.0 assists and 3.5 steals.
Lee, a junior, is Santa Fe's leading scorer with 14.0 points per game and has also shown a renewed commitment on the defensive end this season.
Bixby would seem like the most likely contenders to pull off an upset.
The Lady Spartans are led by senior guard Christina Devers, who averages 20.4 points per game. Stevi Parker averaged 13.4 points and 7.1 rebounds.
