Canadian County deputies find 115 pounds of marijuana hidden in car

About 6:15 a.m. Sunday, Canadian County deputies were talked to a driver at TA Truck Stop, 501 S Morgan Road, and searched a vehicle the driver was hauling from Los Angeles to Memphis, Tenn. Inside the vehicle, deputies found several bundles of marijuana with a value of about $650,000.

About 115 pounds of marijuana was found Sunday in a vehicle being hauled from Los Angeles to Memphis, Tenn., the Canadian County sheriff’s office reported.

About 6:15 a.m., Canadian County deputies talked to a driver at TA Truck Stop, 501 S Morgan Road, and searched a vehicle the driver was hauling from Los Angeles to Memphis, Tenn.

Inside the vehicle, deputies found several bundles of marijuana with a street value of about $650,000.

Investigators think the driver had no knowledge of what was inside the vehicle and was released without arrest.
