EDMOND — A candlelight vigil for Dwight A. Morgan, known as Bicycle Bob, will be at 8 tonight at Festival Market Place, 26 W First Street.
The body of Morgan, a 54-year-old homeless man, was discovered Sunday afternoon. Travis Monroe Jim,20, another homeless man, has been arrested on a first-degree murder complaint.
Bryce Camp,21, of Edmond said he decided to organize the vigil for a man he really didn't know, but had seen around town since he was a young boy.
"It seemed like a nice thing to do," Camp said.
He said he is hoping to raise some money for Morgan's funeral.
Edmond police are collecting money to help with funeral expenses. Donations can be made to the Dwight Morgan Memorial Fund, C/O Edmond Fraternal Order of Police, Citizens Bank of Edmond, P.O. Box 30, Edmond, OK 73083.
