CHOCTAW — A man whose body was found Monday in Choctaw had been shot multiple times, the Oklahoma County sheriff's office said.
Choctaw police went about 8 a.m. to the 15000 block of SE 29 and found the body of James Vaughn, 46, in a yard near a trailer, according to a news release.
Officers are searching for a missing vehicle believed to be involved -- a champagne colored, four-door, 1994 Buick Bonneville with Oklahoma license plate number 735DZZ. The passenger headlight is damaged and the car has a red scrape on the passenger side quarter panel, Choctaw police Chief Conny Clay said.
No arrests have been made. Choctaw police asked the sheriff's office for assistance in the case.
