“They are playing games,” Oku said of Florida State. “The recruiting game is a business and you have to treat it like a business.

“You can’t fool around when you’re talking about were you’ll spend the next four years of your life.”

Oku felt he was getting the run around from the Seminole coaching staff, thus decided to cut ties with the team which was his childhood favorite.

Michigan joins Tennessee, Nebraska and Louisville in Oku’s top four.

The senior said he is hoping to visit Michigan on Oct. 4 when the Wolverines host Illinois. He changed his mind about the Wolverines after watching Rich Rodriguez’s spread offense against Utah.

It was a busy weekend for Oku, who visited Louisville during the Cardinals 27-2 loss to Kentucky last Sunday.

“It was cool,” Oku said of his visit to Louisville. “The only thing was it seemed a little dead, I think because it was a Sunday game.”

Yes, I'm sure this kid really knows how to run a business. Interesting how 3 of his top 4 seem to be on the way down for the next few years and Nebraska has been awful lately as well. Is he afraid of competition? Maybe he saw Michigan trot out a white tailback on Saturday and changed his mind. Might as well add A&M to the list.

I bet Florida will go back on his short list once he finds out it's a misunderstanding.

I would rather hear more about the Lowe kid from CA than Oku..OKU should probably commit already...he keeps crossing people off on the list and then going to other places...sounds like he is the one playing games...Should go to University of Florida if you're looking for a place that's not "DEAD" heard they were voted top party university!

“The recruiting game is a business and you have to treat it like a business" I thought that was the NFL? They better order an extra linemans helmet for his big old head! haha!

Too bad Oku doesn't have the University of Oklahoma on his short list. Sometimes the best team out there is right in your own backyard.

Enough about this kid already! We get a stinking article about him every time he "crosses" another one off his list. How about this DOK, why not just do an article when he finally does make his choice. We get tired of hearing about him every time he passes gas. There is not going to be much local interest since he is going out of state, which is fine, but wait until he makes his choice. We have been hearing about this "unproven prospect" since last year. Enough!
