Contemporary Christian recording artist Jami Smith is known for her Christmas concerts that provide concertgoers with opportunities to give as well as receive.

Smith, an Oklahoma native, will host her seventh annual Oklahoma City Christmas Concert “Joyful, Joyful” at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 19 at Crossings Community Church, 14600 N Portland.

Those who attend Smith's concert will be treated to her take on traditional holiday songs as well as several original songs from her two Christmas albums, “Hope of All the Earth” and “Joyful, Joyful.”

Concertgoers on the receiving end of Smith's talents will be giving, too. The concert benefits Celebrate Recovery, a national ministry started at religious leader Rick Warren's Saddleback Church. Celebrate Recovery, which has numerous Oklahoma City metro chapters at local churches, is a weekly support group ministry to people on the path to recovery.

Smith serves as a volunteer guest worship leader at some gatherings.
