— Carlos Perez capped a late comeback with a game-winning home run, and George Springer went deep twice as the Oklahoma City RedHawks defeated the New Orleans Zephyrs 6-5 at Zephyr Field on Saturday night.

The Zephyrs led 5-3 heading into the eighth inning, but Oklahoma City rallied and tied it with an RBI double by Brandon Laird.

Zephyrs reliever Zach Phillips (4-1) allowed a leadoff home run to Perez in the ninth. It was the first home run Phillips has surrendered this season.

RedHawks closer Josh Zeid struck out Gorkys Hernandez to end the game and earn his 10th save. Reliever Jason Stoffel (3-0) earned the win.

The RedHawks and Zephyrs close out the four-game series at 6 p.m. Sunday. Asher Wojciechowski (4-4, 3.45 ERA) will start for OKC, and Jared Rogers (3-2, 5.88) will take the mound for New Orleans.
