In our last column, we discussed the policy paradox of environmental rules related to ozone regulations. There is a reason why our organization and the state Department of Environmental Quality broadcast "Clean Air Alert” (better known as Ozone Alert) days.

Our air quality status influences our region's economic and environmental standing. Most of all, it impacts the health of our residents.
