Carroll leads Frontier Conference preseason poll

WHITEFISH, Mont. (AP) — Frontier Conference football coaches are predicting 12-time defending league champion Carroll College will win its 13th consecutive title this fall.

Carroll received seven first-place votes in the preseason poll released Saturday while Montana State-Northern received the other first-place vote and finished in second.

Eastern Oregon was a close third followed by Rocky Mountain College in fourth. Newcomer Southern Oregon is ranked fifth, followed by Montana Tech, newcomer Dickinson State and Montana Western.

Coaches weren't allowed to vote for their own teams.
