Casady's highly regarded major college prospects were too much for Holland Hall on Friday night.
Iowa State commitment Denver Johnson caught five passes for 118 yards and two touchdowns while left tackle Josh Wariboko-Alali was a dominant offensive force to help the Cyclones defeat the Dutch 33-7 in a Southwest Preparatory Conference and regular-season opener for both teams at Hardesty Field.
“We were good at moments, I would give us an A-minus,” said Johnson about the grade he would give the Cyclones' offense. “There were some drives without scoring so you have to deduct points for that, but overall I was satisfied with our production.”
Casady quarterback T’Quan Wallace passed for 162 yards and three touchdowns. Running back Gary Woods, nephew of former OSU standouts Rashaun and Donovan Woods, had 14 carries for 103 yards and a touchdown.
